fall always makes me sad somehow. at the same time, though, i feel as if it fills me with resolve. like getting through the worst of a broken heart, when you decide that you'll yet survive, even if you know it won't be easy to carry on. it's one of those annual seasonal things that i've talked about before. it's something that almost feels comfortable now. in a sentimental sort of way, i even welcome it.
